Oman’s SJC Announces ‘Qadaa’ Portal to Digitize Judicial and Legal Services

Muscat, 3 Mar (ONA): The Supreme Judicial Council (SJC) of Oman has unveiled ‘Qadaa’, a unified digital platform aimed at streamlining judicial and legal transactions.
Key Highlights:
- Launch Date: March 6, 2025
- Portal Access: sjc.gov.om
- Purpose: Simplify legal processes for individuals and legal professionals
- New Regulation: From March 6, Omani courts will only accept electronic powers of attorney issued via the Tawtheeq notary public system. Paper-based documents will no longer be valid.
