59 competitors advance to the Sultan Qaboos Holy Quran competition’s final stages.

59 male and female competitors have advanced to the final stages of the 32nd Sultan Qaboos Holy Quran Competition, according to the Sultan Qaboos Higher Centre for Culture and Science.

Muscat – This announcement comes after the conclusion of the preliminary rounds, which saw a total of 1,790 contestants from across Oman competing in various categories of Quran memorization and recitation.

Dr Saeed bin Hamid Al Dhuwyani, Vice-President of the competition’s committees, shared details of the selection process. A total of 59 contestants were chosen to advance to the final qualifiers, which will take place starting November 24 at the Sultan Qaboos Grand Mosque in Bausher. The contestants will compete in seven distinct levels, based on their ability to memorize and recite portions of the Holy Quran.
