The Environment Authority has announced an extension to the suspension of issuing environmental licenses for the export of certain types of waste.
MUSCAT : The new directive, effective from January 1, 2025, will remain in place for a year.
The suspension from Environment Authority applies to the following waste categories:
Used cooking oils
Used tires
Scrap iron
Used batteries
