In preparation for the 43rd Arab Men’s Golf Championship, Oman’s national golf squad

Oman will participate in the 43rd Arab Men’s Golf Championship, which will be held from November 18 to 22 at Al Zorah Club in Ajman, UAE

UAE: Under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Humaid bin Rashid Al Nuaimi, Member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Ajman, the tournament promises to bring together top golfing talent from across the Arab world.

Oman’s national golf team will be guided by South African coach Richard, with Ahmed bin Faisal Al Jahdhami, Secretary General of the Oman Golf Federation, heading the delegation. The pioneers team will also feature Ali bin Hamid Al Saleh, Hussein bin Dad Al Balushi, and Mohammed Al Maawali.

The competition is expected to be fierce, with top Arab teams from Morocco, Tunisia, Egypt, Saudi Arabia, and the UAE all vying for the championship. National team player Ahmed Al Wahaibi expressed confidence in his team’s readiness despite the tough competition, adding that the team’s participation in Japan’s Asia-Pacific Amateur Golf Championship significantly boosted their skills and experience.

On the UAE’s preparations, Major General (retired) Abdullah Al Hashimi, Vice President of the UAE Golf Federation, shared that more than 100 players from 12 Arab countries will compete in this event.
