Important safety advice has been released by the Royal Oman Police (ROP) to guarantee that everyone has a fun and safe vacation.

MUSCAT: As the National Day celebrations approach, the ROP encourages locals to put safety first and abide by following rules: The ROP stressed in a statement the significance of exercising caution before embarking on any journey, especially while traveling by road. Important suggestions consist of:

• Ensure that your vehicle is in good condition before setting off to guarantee safe driving.
• Always carry a first aid kit and sufficient supplies for the journey.
• Stick to traffic safety rules and avoid high-speed driving.
• Inform family or friends of your travel plans, including your intended route and expected return time.
• Opt for known and safe destinations, and avoid venturing into unfamiliar or high-risk areas that may pose safety concerns.
