The Omani company “Seven Fries” enters foreign markets and grows in India, Pakistan, and Iraq.

The first Omani company to specialize in fresh French fries, “Seven Fries,” is fast extending its global presence, a sign of the rising entrepreneurial spirit of Omani youngsters.

MUSCAT: Issa bin Saleh Al Aghbari founded the brand in the Wilayat of Seeb in the Muscat Governorate in 2021. Since then, it has swiftly expanded internationally, obtaining franchise agreements in Pakistan, India, and Iraq, and it has big aspirations to continue growing abroad.

This success story demonstrates the growing trend of young Omani individuals transforming their hobbies into profitable business endeavors, which helps diversify the Sultanate’s economy.

In two years, Seven Fries opened three locations in the Governorates of Muscat and Dhofar, demonstrating its impressive growth. It has received a lot of attention and was chosen to join the franchise program of the Oman Chamber of Commerce and Industry out of more than 300 Omani businesses. A formal agreement to continue develop the brand was reached with the Chamber as a result of this selection.

Al Aghbari inked his first commercial franchise agreement in the Muscat Governorate’s Al Amerat in 2024. The company signed a second franchise agreement in Ibri, Al Dhahirah Governorate, this year, broadening its presence.

With commercial franchisees in Erbil (Kurdistan Region), Baghdad (Iraq), Islamabad (Pakistan), and an exclusive deal in India, “Seven Fries” has expanded its reach internationally.

Issa Al Aghbari acknowledged India as one of the biggest international markets and announced ambitions to open 300 branches there. Additionally, he observed a large number of requests for franchise agreements in various international markets, especially the US.
