Sultan Faisal School in Al Amerat’s academic progress is reviewed by His Majesty Sultan Haitham.

In order to personally evaluate the progress made in the educational process, His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik Al Said visited Sultan Faisal bin Turki Boys School in the Wilayat of Al Amerat today.

Muscat – The Sultan’s visit highlighted the importance of education and its role in shaping the future of the nation.

Upon His Majesty’s arrival at the school, he was warmly received by H.E. Dr. Madiha bint Ahmed Al Shaibaniyah, Minister of Education, along with senior officials from the Ministry. The visit began with a warm reception from the school’s scout group, who chanted slogans in honour of His Majesty, followed by a heartfelt welcoming poem recited by one of the students.

During the visit, His Majesty received a detailed overview of the school from a student, before embarking on a tour of the school’s facilities. He visited various classrooms, learning centres, and laboratories, observing the day-to-day activities that reflect the school’s commitment to educational excellence.
In addition, His Majesty toured a special exhibition that showcased the innovative programs and student projects in areas such as financial literacy, entrepreneurship, vocational and technical education, and the integration of artificial intelligence in the learning process.

The Sultan also attended a workshop in the Fine Arts Hall and a sports class, engaging with students and educators in a variety of academic and extracurricular activities.

Towards the end of the visit, His Majesty met with educators and students from various schools in Muscat Governorate to hear about their initiatives, achievements, and feedback on the education sector.
In a fitting conclusion to the visit, His Majesty penned a speech expressing his support and commitment to advancing the education sector, emphasizing the importance of nurturing young talent and fostering progress across all areas of development.
