Shah Rukh Khan releases a teaser for his son Aryan’s Netflix directorial debut, ‘The Ba***ds of Bollywood’
The highly anticipated Netflix original, directed by Shah Rukh Khan’s son Aryan Khan and produced by Red Chillies Entertainment, premieres on September 18, 2025.
MUMBAI: Netflix, in association with Shah Rukh Khan’s Red Chillies Entertainment, has launched the first trailer for Aryan Khan’s highly anticipated directorial debut, The Ba**ds of Bollywood. The series is scheduled to premiere on September 18, 2025.
The preview also revealed a sparkling ensemble cast led by Bobby Deol, Lakshya, Sahher Bambba, Manoj Pahwa, Mona Singh, Manish Chaudhari, Raghav Juyal, Anya Singh, Vijayant Kohli, Rajat Bedi, and Gautami Kapoor, with cameos from Salman Khan and Karan Johar.
Aryan Khan created and directed the series, which he co-wrote with Bilal Siddiqi and Manav Chauhan and is produced by Red Chillies. The drama, billed as an underdog story, claims to investigate ambition, rivalry, and the dark side of the Hindi film industry.
Aryan Khan spoke about his idea, saying, “With ‘The Ba***ds of Bollywood,’ I wanted to create a universe that feels both dazzling and dangerous—a space where fantasies meet with reality, egos clash, and nothing is ever quite what it seems. Netflix supported our concept and provided us the flexibility to bring it to life in a raw, stylized manner that was unlike anything seen before.”
Shah Rukh Khan expressed his satisfaction, saying, “It’s a special moment to see Aryan present his vision with such boldness and clarity.” The storyline is cutting, edgy, and unapologetic, and I believe audiences will connect with its heart as well as its style.
The Ba*ds of Bollywood, with its blend of beauty, grit, and ambition, is positioned as one of Netflix’s most daring new originals this year.
