Oman’s Health Ministry clarifies the situation regarding Promotions.

MUSCAT: The Ministry of Health has released an explanation following social media conversations about the recent decision to rescind certain employee promotions.
The Ministry stated that the measure is part of a thorough assessment of administrative procedures aimed at unifying policies and guaranteeing equitable opportunity for all personnel categories. It stated that the decision did not violate employees’ legal or professional rights.
The Ministry also stated that separate decisions are being issued to resolve the issues of impacted personnel, in accordance with the established legal frameworks. It also confirmed that all employees maintain the right to file grievances through official channels.
The Ministry reaffirmed its commitment to fairness and transparency, stating that no official data or information released on social media should be deemed accurate until issued through the Ministry’s official outlets.
