Oman launches ‘Tourism Hackathon 2025’ to explore smart and sustainable travel solutions.

The Ministry of Heritage and Tourism announced the commencement of the ‘Tourism Hackathon 2025’, a youth ideas competition aimed at developing Oman’s tourism and hospitality sectors.
MUSCAT – The hackathon will take place in many governorates, beginning with Duqm in Al Wusta Governorate on August 27 and running through August 31.
This event is part of national efforts to foster creativity and innovation, which align with the goals of Oman Vision 2040. It reaffirms Oman’s position as a top destination for sustainable and competitive tourism.
It is worth noting that the event’s technical organisation is being coordinated with the Muscat Hospitality Academy (MHA) and the Darbak Company.
