Trump Directs Emergency Price Relief Measures for Americans, Says White House Press Secretary
Oman Horizon Bulletin

Washington, D.C. – January 30 – In her first official press briefing, Karoline Leavitt, the newly appointed and youngest-ever White House Press Secretary, announced that President Donald Trump has ordered immediate action to provide economic relief to American citizens. The initiative aims to counteract inflationary pressures and reduce costs for households.
Trump’s Emergency Economic Relief Plan
During the press briefing, Leavitt criticized the previous administration under President Joe Biden, stating that its economic policies led to increased financial burdens on American families. She emphasized that President Trump has taken decisive steps to eliminate restrictive regulations and restore energy independence.
“On the economic front, President Trump took immediate action to lower costs for families who have suffered under four years of the Biden administration’s destructive and inflationary policies. He has directed executive departments and agencies to implement emergency price relief measures, dismantle unnecessary regulations, and put an end to the reckless war on American energy,” Leavitt stated.
Executive Orders on Government Operations and Social Policies
Leavitt further revealed that President Trump has signed multiple executive orders aimed at restructuring federal agencies and ensuring a merit-based system in government operations.
“President Trump has restored common sense in the federal bureaucracy. His executive orders seek to end government weaponization and eliminate illegal diversity, equity, and inclusion programs, helping return America to a merit-based society,” she said.
Additionally, she highlighted a significant policy change related to gender recognition, stating that Trump signed an order affirming the recognition of only two biological sexes – male and female.
“Sanity has been restored,” she remarked, emphasizing the administration’s stance on traditional gender definitions.
Press Freedom and Media Inclusion
Leavitt also announced plans to restore press access for journalists, noting that Trump has directed the reinstatement of 440 press passes that were revoked under the Biden administration.
“Our team is committed to the First Amendment. We will work diligently to restore the press passes of 440 journalists whose credentials were wrongly revoked,” she said.
Furthermore, she revealed that the White House will expand media access by granting credentials to independent journalists, social media influencers, and content creators who meet the administration’s criteria and pass security clearance requirements.
“We are opening this briefing room to new media voices, including podcasters and digital content creators, to ensure greater access and transparency,” Leavitt added.
Clarification on Drone Sightings Over New Jersey
Addressing recent public concerns regarding multiple drone sightings in New Jersey, Leavitt cited an official update from President Trump, confirming that the drones were authorized by the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) for research and recreational use.
“After careful research, it has been confirmed that the drones seen flying over New Jersey were legally authorized for FAA research and other civilian purposes. Many belonged to hobbyists and private individuals. This was not a security threat,” she clarified.
Her statement aligns with the Pentagon’s earlier assessment, which concluded that the drone activity posed no national security risk.
Conclusion
With emergency economic measures, regulatory changes, and expanded media access, the Trump administration aims to prioritize affordability, economic recovery, and government transparency. Further developments on these policies are expected in the coming weeks.
