Scattered Showers Expected in Coastal Regions of Oman

Oman Horizon Bulletin

Muscat: The latest weather report from the Oman Meteorology Department indicates that clouds are currently present over the coastal areas of the Oman Sea, bringing the possibility of scattered rain showers in these regions.

According to the Civil Aviation Authority (CAA), the weather will remain generally clear across the Sultanate of Oman, with cloud formations likely to occur primarily over the Oman Sea. This will increase the chances of sporadic rainfall along these coastal areas.

Residents in these areas should be prepared for dusty conditions, as the winds may carry sand, which could significantly reduce visibility.

Additionally, the CAA has warned of the possibility of low clouds or fog patches during the late night and early morning in parts of the South Al Sharqiyah governorate, which could make driving conditions hazardous due to further reduced visibility.
