A missing Omani national who died after falling from a fishing boat was discovered on Sur Beach.

A tragic conclusion has been reached in the search for a missing person who fell from a fishing boat close to the Al-Bar neighborhood of Sur.

MUSCAT: The body was found by a local resident along the beach following days of ceaseless attempts by national search and rescue personnel. Shortly after the report, the body was found by Coast Guard Police rescue personnel. Following an accident at sea, the man was reported missing on Wednesday, November 27, 2024. Coordinated search efforts, including those of the Coast Guard Police, have been in progress ever since to find him.
