Al Mudhaibi traffic accident: Oman’s MOH confirms two fatalities and twenty-two injuries

According to preliminary accounts, a terrible multi-vehicle collision in the Wilayat of Al Mudhaibi has resulted in two fatalities and countless injuries.
MUSCAT : The accident, which occurred earlier today, has prompted an urgent response from emergency services and medical facilities in the region.
The Ministry of Health’s Emergency Management Center confirmed that Ibra Hospital has received a total of 24 victims from the crash. Of these, 22 individuals sustained moderate to critical injuries, with the most severe cases being prepared for transfer to advanced care facilities, including Nizwa, Sur, Khoulah, and University Medical City, as needed.
In light of the tragedy, the Ministry of Health has urged all motorists in Oman to prioritize safety, particularly on long journeys. “We call on all citizens and residents to exercise caution when driving, especially over long distances,” a statement from the ministry read.
The Royal Oman Police (ROP) confirmed the accident involved seven vehicles, with injuries ranging from moderate to minor early this morning, which left 2 citizens dead and 22 others injured. The ROP urged drivers to exercise caution and adhere to traffic laws to prevent such tragedies.
