405 Fraudulent Emiratisation instances found in the first half of 2025, according to the UAE’s Ministry of Human Resources.

During the first half of 2025, the UAE’s Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation (MoHRE) discovered 405 incidents of false Emiratisation in the business sector.
Dubai: The MoHRE stated that the irregularities were found between January and June of this year, and legal action is currently being taken against the entities concerned. While the ministry did not reveal the identities of the companies, it did say that punishments will range from fines to extra sanctions, based on the gravity of each breach.
Fake Emiratisation usually involves corporations misclassifying employees to enhance their national hiring stats or putting Emiratis on payroll without significant work. Such methods contradict the government’s Emiratisation push, which has been intensified in recent years with stiffer targets and harsher punishments for noncompliance.
In a statement, authorities emphasized the ministry’s “firm commitment” to safeguarding the integrity of Emiratisation efforts, which aim to enhance national involvement in the private workforce as part of the UAE’s long-term economic strategy.
Authorities also made a public plea, inviting Emiratis and residents to report any suspected incidents of false Emiratisation via the ministry’s hotline (600590000), smart app, or official website.
