Eagles Triumph in Sea Pride’s Sur Premier League Season Two Grand Finale

Muscat, February 1 – The Sea Pride LLC Sur Premier League Season Two came to an exhilarating conclusion on January 31, as the Eagles claimed victory over the Fighting Falcons in a thrilling championship showdown.
The tournament, held in Sur, attracted cricket enthusiasts from across the region, reinforcing the sport’s growing popularity in Oman. Supported by Sea Pride LLC as the Title Sponsor, the event also received backing from Asian Paints Berger, Sur Beach Holiday, Al Fouz Hypermarket, Badr Al Samaa Hospitals, Aswar Sur Trading, Athar Al Madeenah Group, Emaad Sur, and Al Mahra Mart.
A total of 10 teams competed in the league, with player selections conducted through an auction process that saw the registration of 170 players—a testament to the tournament’s increasing competitiveness and local engagement.

The Eagles lifted the championship trophy and claimed the grand prize, which was presented by Mr. Mohamed Ameen, Managing Director of Sea Pride Group of Companies. Meanwhile, the Fighting Falcons, as runners-up, received their trophy from Mr. Rabeesh, a representative of Asian Paints. The total prize pool exceeded RO 1,000, making it one of the most rewarding cricket events in the region.
The closing ceremony was attended by Mr. Salim Al Ghailani from the Ministry of Culture, Sports, and Youth, along with other esteemed guests, adding prestige to the occasion.
As the league continues to gain momentum, organizers unveiled the official logo for Sur Premier League Season Three, set to commence in December 2025, promising even greater excitement and opportunities for rising cricket talent.
