MUSCAT : As part of the bank’s commitment to financial inclusivity and empowerment Alizz Islamic Bank has partnered with Al Noor Association for the Blind to enhance the experience of visually impaired customers and assist them with their banking and financial needs by becoming the first bank in Oman to provide them with braille account opening forms.
This industry-first innovation marks a significant step towards improving the inclusivity and accessibility of banking services for customers with visual impairments. The introduction of the braille account opening forms demonstrates the bank’s commitment to financial inclusion and sustainability.

Alizz Islamic Bank has played a leading role in creating an environment to facilitate financial inclusivity and is dedicated to continuing to remove barriers and simplify access to financial services for all. The bank had previously aided the Al Noor Association for the Blind, training programs under the supervision of a specialised group of trainers who are experts in sign language and Braille. In addition, Alizz Islamic Bank employees attended a tailor-made program developed to educate them on how to communicate with the visually/ hearing impaired and answer their related inquiries in the branches via braille or sign language.
