Oman focuses on global energy stability while fortifying its relationship with OPEC.

At an event hosted by the Secretary-General of the Organization of the Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC), Oman’s Deputy Prime Minister for Cabinet Affairs reiterated the country’s dedication to promoting global energy balance.

Muscat: His Highness Sayyid Fahd bin Mahmoud Al Said, Deputy Prime Minister for Cabinet Affairs, highlighted the importance of cooperation between the Sultanate of Oman and the Organization of the Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC) during a joint meeting with the Council of Ministers and the State Council.

During his reception with His Excellency the Secretary-General of the Organization of the Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC), he reviewed aspects of joint cooperation between the Government of the Sultanate of Oman and the organization. He also reviewed the efforts made to ensure balance in energy supplies to serve the global economy and find appropriate means to protect the organization’s interests.
