Three people were arrested after the Coast Guard Police Command, working with the General Department for Combating Narcotics and Psychotropic Substances, stopped a drug smuggling operation.

Muscat: Three Asian nationals were detained by the Coast Guard Police in collaboration with the General Department for Combating Narcotics and Psychotropic Substances as they attempted to smuggle in more than 40 kilograms of crystal meth, marijuana, and 19,000 psychotropic tablets. Legal proceedings against the detained persons are still being completed by the authorities.
