Diplomats from Oman come together to promote export expansion and investment in international markets.

The heads of diplomatic missions and Omani ambassadors from the GCC, the Arab world, Asia, and Australia participated in a video conference organized by the Ministry of Commerce, Industry, and Investment Promotion (MoCIIP).

MUSCAT : The meeting spotlighted the Sultanate’s drive to activate economic diplomacy by fostering integration with Omani embassies worldwide. Key goals included promoting foreign direct investment (FDI), enhancing Omani exports, and leveraging the “Invest in Oman” initiative to attract global investors and streamline services for them.

The “Invest in Oman” team showcased promising investment opportunities, strategic sectors, and the achievements of the initiative. They also outlined a comprehensive program to enhance exports and open new markets for Omani products, aligning with Oman Vision 2040’s objectives for economic diversification and sustainability.

Her Excellency Ibtisam bint Ahmed Al Farooji, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Commerce, Industry and Investment Promotion for Investment Promotion, stressed the importance of the role of embassies in promoting investment opportunities in international business communities, attracting foreign direct investment to the Sultanate of Oman, and enabling Omani exports to enter foreign markets, which contributes to achieving the goals of Oman Vision 2040 to build a diversified and sustainable economy.
