The Hague hosts political meetings between Oman and the Netherlands.

In The Hague yesterday, November 25, the Sultanate of Oman and the Kingdom of the Netherlands had their 30th round of political consultations.

The Hague – The Omani delegation was led by H.E. Sheikh Khalifa bin Ali Al Harthy, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs for Political Affairs, and the Dutch delegation was headed by Christian Rebergen, Secretary General of the Dutch Foreign Ministry.

The session discussed regional and international issues of mutual interest and explored bilateral cooperation between the two friendly countries. It also reviewed ways to enhance economic relations across various fields to serve the shared interests of both nations.

During his visit, H.E. Sheikh Khalifa met with Maarten Boef, Foreign Affairs Adviser to the Dutch Prime Minister. The meeting included an exchange of views on key events and issues of mutual interest, as well as discussions on ways to strengthen bilateral cooperation in various areas to further develop relations between the two countries.

The meetings were attended by H.E. Sheikh Dr Abdullah bin Salem bin Hamad Al Harthy, Oman’s Ambassador to the Netherlands, along with Omani and Dutch officials.
