Oman takes part in the Hague Conference of the States Parties

In The Hague, Netherlands, the Sultanate of Oman is taking part in the Conference of the States Parties to the Chemical Weapons Convention (CSP-29), which is in its 29th session.
MUSCAT : Oman’s delegation is represented by H.E. Dr. Sheikh Abdullah bin Salem Al Harthy, the Sultanate’s ambassador to the Kingdom of the Netherlands, and its permanent representative to the organization, and H.E. Saleh bin Yahya Al Maskari, Head of the Department of Global Affairs at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
At the session, Oman is scheduled to deliver a statement on behalf of a number of the member states of the organization, regarding the organization’s request to investigate the possibility of Israel’s use of chemical weapons during its brutal criminal war against Palestine and Lebanon. It is also expected to appeal to the organization and the member states on the importance of working to implement the purposes of the agreement and enhance peaceful cooperation between the member states.
