UAE declares holidays for Eid Al Etihad

The Federal Authority for Government Human Resources has announced a two-day vacation for federal ministries and entities in honor of the 53rd National Day of the United Arab Emirates, giving citizens a long weekend.

DUBAI: In honor of the 53rd National Day of the United Arab Emirates, the Federal Authority for Government Human Resources has announced a two-day holiday for workers in federal ministries and agencies. The announcement gives locals a four-day respite to commemorate the momentous event, extending the next weekend. Monday, December 2, and Tuesday, December 3, 2024 are the dates of the holiday. On Wednesday, December 4, 2024, work will resume, and Saturday and Sunday will be the usual weekend. In honor of the 53rd Eid Al Etihad, the Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratization (MoHRE) also declared that December 2 and 3 would be paid public holidays for UAE private sector employees.
