Oman’s Labour Ministry Hosts Forum on Professional Certifications for Career Growth

Muscat: The Ministry of Labour, in collaboration with Talents Oasis Institute, has inaugurated a two-day forum focused on the role of professional certifications in enhancing career opportunities and workforce development.

Aimed at executives, managers, employees, and recent graduates, the event seeks to emphasize the growing significance of professional certifications in career progression and job performance. The forum provides a platform for discussions on evolving trends, certification types, and best practices to maximize career benefits. Participants will have the opportunity to network with industry experts and gain insights into leveraging certifications for professional advancement.

The forum commenced with an opening speech by His Excellency Sayyid Salim bin Muslim Al Busaidi, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Labour for Human Resources Development. He underscored the critical role of professional certifications, particularly in the government sector, and highlighted the necessity for continuous skill development to remain competitive in the job market.

Abdullah bin Saif Al Maamari, CEO of Talents Oasis Institute, also addressed the attendees, stressing the importance of skill enhancement in professional success.
