His Majesty’s problems Royal Decrees pertaining to taxes and governmental contracts

In order to improve international collaboration and governance in financial affairs, His Majesty has issued two royal decrees.

MUSCAT: Two important royal directives have been issued by His Majesty Sultan Haitham Bin Tarik. Royal Decree No. (59/2024) creates a framework for contract signing and overseeing the state’s financial commitments. In the meantime, an agreement between Oman and Ireland to do away with income tax double taxation is ratified by Royal Decree No. (60/2024).
