Modern Al Falah Hospital will provide Oman with cutting-edge healthcare services.

On Monday, the day after tomorrow, the Ministry of Health will lay the cornerstone for the new Al Falah Hospital in the South Al Sharqiyah Governorate.

Muscat: The event will be held under the patronage of His Excellency Dr. Saud bin Hamoud Al Habsi, Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries, and Water Resources.

Eng. Yousef bin Yaqoub bin Nasser Ambu Ali, Director General of Projects and Engineering Services at the Ministry of Health, outlined the ambitious scope of the project, which spans 343,000 square meters with a built-up area of 58,000 square meters. The hospital’s construction, estimated at a cost of RO 51.861 million, will create a 170-bed facility, offering comprehensive medical services.

Al Falah Hospital will feature 38 outpatient clinics covering various specialties, a cutting-edge accident and emergency department, and an advanced radiology unit equipped with MRI, CT, X-ray, and ultrasound devices. Additionally, it will house a kidney medicine unit, a dental clinic, and day care facilities.

Specialized wards for surgery, internal medicine, obstetrics, gynecology, pediatrics, and intensive care will ensure patients receive top-tier care. The hospital’s maternity unit will include a neonatal care section, while surgical needs will be addressed with three operating theaters and facilities for laparoscopic interventions.

The facility will also include a fully equipped laboratory, pharmacies, administrative offices, and service buildings. Infrastructure for water treatment, medical gases, and power backup will ensure smooth operations, while 1,422 parking spaces will accommodate visitors.
