The menu, which was created by local chefs, honors the spirit of family traditions that make Fridays special while embracing Oman’s culinary heritage.

In addition to fresh local seafood and the well-known Omani dried fish salad, Majlis al-Nahaar’s menu features Omani specialties such as the tender, slow-cooked Ouzi, the char-grilled Mishkak, and the fragrant Mandi. For those who are unfamiliar with Omani cuisine, these dishes provide a flavorful introduction, creating a rich experience that makes an impression.

At the beautifully adorned restaurant, sustainability and authenticity go hand in hand. The Mövenpick team partners with local farmers to source fresh produce, including dates, pomegranates, and zucchini, ensuring each dish captures the essence of Omani flavors while supporting local agriculture.

Wagner remarked, “We’re dedicated to highlighting Oman’s natural bounty while minimizing our carbon footprint.”

“Our chefs are more than willing to prepare dishes upon request to accommodate dietary restrictions, ensuring every guest feels at home,” added the F&B director.

To enhance the brunch experience, Majlis al-Nahaar offers a variety of refreshing beverages, including water, soft drinks, fresh juices, and mocktails. A signature date and pomegranate mocktail has quickly become a favorite, capturing the sweet and tangy essence of Omani flavors.

Starting in January 2025, Mövenpick Ghala Muscat plans to enhance the Majlis al-Nahaar experience with additional dining options and live entertainment, making Fridays even more memorable for families of all ages.
